I was VERY taken with him....

Dad put him on the fence so he could warm his wings
Fly away...

I was plotting a way up to...

  1. Mmmm. He does look nice and crunchy...
    Toodle pip!

  2. oooh we love dudeds who poop on humans... and it looks a little like a dragon from Hairy Potter... maybe it can grow that big that you can take a ride ?

  3. Hmmm...we are not really into such creatures, especially if they poop all over. Hopefully it flew away and started a new life.

  4. Dearest Royal niece. OMDs...what a most beautiful Mothie!!
My word I am all kinds of interested in how he did all this. Uncle and I will do some serious surfin' on Google.

One thing I can say at least your Dad didn't need a poop bag...just some warm water for a clean up
    Hugs your Aunty Cecilia

  5. Our Lucy is fascinated by all new critters that enter her world.
She will sit on the patio and watch the birds on the fence, but she really looks forward to the appearance of a bunny so she can chase it across the back yard.

  6. Hari OM

  10. That is a most beautiful Moth. Glad it was able to get away. Thanks for not eating that pretty moth Princess Leah. Have a super day.

  11. That little one sure is pretty in pink sweet Princess!

  12. Pooh is a beautiful moth. How rude that he poo'd on your dad!

  13. That is so neat! What a pretty bug...and I'm with your Princess, I would have snarfed him up too!

    Your friend Kiki

  14. Mama is oooo-ing and aaawwwwing over the pretty pink highlights of that Mofty...BUT, I'm with you Princess and think moths are extra tasty(must be their powdery coating)!

Mama and Daddy also frown upon eating tasty bugs...sheesh!

  15. What a beautiful moth. We love the pretty colors. Looks like they wanted to leave something to remember them by. Some poo on dad's hand is a funny goodbye present. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day, Princess.

  16. He certainly improved in looks, if not manners. Such a lovely moth. We think you should have been allowed a little licky.

  17. Good idea not to eat him, you could get an upset tummy.

  18. What a beautiful moth you helped to grow! I'm sure it will come flying by to say hello.

  19. I am sure he would have tasted good but that was probably not the outcome your parents were looking for.

  20. We never thought about bugs pooping. Lucy ate a white moth. I wonder if a colored one would taste better. xox Xena

  21. Oh he is so so pretty! Glad he was able to fly away!

  22. I'm just starting to catch up on reading my friends' blogs. Sorry for the late entry. My ghostwriter had to work some overtime the past few days.

Wow! That's one interesting moftie! A few years ago, we had a couple cocoons that hatched out to be polyphemus moths. The first thing they did when they hatched was poop all over everything! They were beautiful, though. We let them go outside and haven't found any more cocoons since then.
We hope you and your family are doing well.
    Love, your faithful Chester

  23. Dear Princess, thank you for visiting me! I would have tried to eat the moth, too. I like hinting bugs. Deedle

  24. Charlee: "Ooooh, a moth."
    Chaplin: "We like moths."
Charlee: "And we are right there with you on the eating them up thing, Princess Leah!"
