For Whitley

Today I am joining in Blogsville's Tribute to Whitley

 I, on the other paw, have one dress....

My Mum, inspired by Whitley's outfits made me this dress 

and then gave up!

Flower Friday

I thought I'd join flower Friday

It's not easy trying to find flowers in a garden full of Bonsai trees

But I did find this…….

Our Wisteria Bonsai

Its a work in progress, 
but at least it does have flowers on it this year

Last year 'sumpuppy' chewed all the buds off!

We've had a really weird spring here 

and the Crabby Apple was disappointing

so

lets do a flashback to last year

Bacon

If you've been reading the Lone Star Cats and Finley's blogs

you'll know there's been some kitchen remodelling going on

and

a SERIOUS bacon shortage!!!! 

But,

 while I slurped my puppicino,

wondering how I could help

I came up with a cunning plan....

I ordered a Full English Breakfast....

How to get in past the customs men.....

I'll eat it!!!!

Then fly over to Texas taking the bacon with me!

Tall Tree Tail on Tuesday

 I was just doing my rounds in the garden......

When I noticed that the sun had caught this bonsai 

And 

I thought you might like to see it in all its glory

before it goes all faded 

This one used to live down the bottom of the garden

but is up here now to replace the really tall one that died.

What a shame to have tucked it away all these years!

I think I'd better go investigate and see what other

treasures I can find.......

If you go down to the woods today….

You're sure of a big surprise...

ME!!!!

The weather was pawfect for a picnic so 

I took the peeps to Wendover Woods 

I met some great new furfriends

This pretty girlie had the most beautiful collar on

'scuse me, where did you buy your collar?

I just luffs investigating in the woods don't you?

The sniffs were AMAZING!!!!!

And the views just stunning

But we nearly didn't make it,

'cos on the way there this happened….

That's the car bonnet up….

not a good sign

The horses were playing up in the Princess carriage

Luckily Dad saved the day,

although he did struggle, 

he only had his sunglasses

which made seeing under the bonnet a trifle difficult, hehe!

This is the last one....yes Mum is rubbish at keeping plants

Mum was told by a man that nose his Orchids 

(an expert they met on holiday in Malaya)

That the best thingy for Orchid is PEE!!!

Yep, its true and although both Dad and I have offered to help

for some reason Mum has refused
