Who Got The Last Laff !

As you know I went to the Vet for a check up yesterday.

 Now as I clambered on to the scales I thought, 

"Watch this Aunty Freya, this is how its done !"

Do these look like the broken ones from Aunty Freya's Vet shop?

WooHoo, impressive !

But noooo.......

Did I hear you correctly Mrs Vet Lady?

Mrs Vet Lady said she can feel my ribs but I need more waist definition so I should probably be 6kg 

 I need to go on a diet !!!!!

Is this the end of my career as a restaurant critic ?

Yeh right! 

So I went home and helped Dad finish off the Custard Tarts

What, no more custie tarts either 

Pah !

Oh, and I've been booked in for my 'op'. I'm not going to be a Mum so Mrs Vet recommended the 'op'.

I finks that could cure my problem .... I'll get a bit of lippo done while they're in there !

And then....

So, after I caused the peeps great embarrassment with my toy snaffling event they felt the need to have a little sit down so we went for some eats.

We went here......

Another dog friendly place with lovely staff 

We sat outside in a nice warm sun puddle

I'm not very good at the patience puppy bit waiting for my food !

Nice bit of salmon (I luffs a bit of fishy in my little dishy) 

and

A glass of Prosecco.

Don't mind if I do!

Oh, I was supposed to eat it down here, whoops !

Four paws up from me for Lock Fyne !

I think I might become a restaurant critic... can't be hard... all you have to do is snaffle foodables and I am great at that !

Another Day another Duck !

As you all know I luffs a good market so I was a very happy Pup when the weather looked dry this weekend and we could go to my favourite market at St Albans.

 Come on peeps, hurry up, we've got a lot to do today ......

I luffs coming here, I always meet new friends 

Now down to the duck ponds.

It does look a bit autumnal now.

There were loads of ducks today.

Sorry Mr Duck, we's forgotten foodables again ! Mum!!

The Canada geese have arrived for a visit

Now up the path to the Cathedral

It's a beautiful building isn't it ?

You can see its history in all the different building styles

Well I was pooped by now and needed my puppicino 

and a little snack to fortify me for the market

I wasn't the only one,

this is Tye, a six year old rescue pup with the softest nature

the best bit.......

Allow me to introduce...er... well I haven't named him yet

The peeps had to buy him for me 'cos 

I made a lunge and dragged him off the market stall

He's MINE !!!! I said

Flashback Friday

I am all betters now, back to my Princess best, thank you for all your lovely comments.

The peeps aren't sure what made me do the sickies and of course I'm not telling, Princesses never discuss their illnesses !

Today we are flashing back to previous paws Mia when the peeps were having their conservatory built

Peek-a-Boo !

 The builders weren't very good at clearing up after themselves and often left food in with the rubbish outside.

Result !

Mia used to rush out the back door every night and search and search until she found their leftovers !

And there always were leftovers, yum, yum, lucky Mia !

And on the Way Back......

After our walkies around the big duck ponds the peeps decided to stop off at the Crooked Chimney Pub.

What a strange name!

Oh, that's why, it's got a crooked chimney....well how was I supposed to see that from down here!

It's over two hundred years old !

We thought we'd stop for a pie and a pint

No, wait, it gets better.....we had a full Sunday roast, yeah !!!

Of course you must have a post Sunday dinner nap !

Wow, this was a great place, pups allowed, staff very friendly, we'll be coming back here again.

And best of all.........

They do a special line in stone, twig and leaf marinated water which all us pups know (and peeps don't understand) is the best water evers, beats those mineral stuffs Mum carries around for me.

Big Duck Pond

We went to the big duck ponds this weekend. The peeps haven't been here for nearly 10 years so having to pay for the carpark was a big of a shock, it used to be free. Shows how times change eh ?

Now stop moaning and lets go........

That was a close shave, need a sit down to recover from that, phew!

Look, they's very big ducks, called sailing boats apparently

I wasn't allowed off my lead much due to a duck chasing incident with a previous paws
