Look who arrived this morning

 Uh oh, he's got an eye on me...


Can you see..under his forewing is a hidden eye..cool eh?

At the moment he is Mr Moftie no name,
Dad still has to identify him
Any ideas?

  16. Wow! That's a great moth for sure! Did you figure out what kind of moth it is? I've only seen little moths and crane flies around here lately. They fly up in front of me when I run through the grass!

    That is really cool. We get these nondescript white moths or bland beige ones. Not usually anything as spectacular as the moth you found - or found you.

  25. We have seen so many more butterpilars this year. Nati started a campaign to give out milkweed seeds and other seeds in packets free at a lot of local places and peeps are planting them and the butterpilars are coming. Like in Field of Dreams "build it and they will come" well this is a plant it and they will come.
