oh what a bitter egs-perience... it's better to stay with meat than with fruits... trust me... I ate only one plum (ok 87) and I've got the runs like crazy...
ReplyDeleteSo that Crab apple was still crabby.Sure glad you didn't eat any of them. You might have gotten very sick. You all have a great Monday.
ReplyDeleteYou have your very own Leah-sized crabby apple tree☺
ReplyDeleteHaha Toby does that with the garden tomatoes! Sorry Leah, guess you have to be patient a bit longer.
ReplyDeleteThe only edible thing we had in the garden were the red currants, but my landlord took them all off. And the roses all have thorns, so I don't think Miss O will go for them. Which is probably for the best anyway...

Crabby apples look so tempting, but you are right, YUCK! What a shame
ReplyDeleteOh, yum! I like to wait for them to fall on the sidewalks, then get all fermented and stuff. They are excellent like that!
ReplyDeleteCam and I thought of you when we visited the Butterfly Garden last weekend!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
YUM!
ReplyDeleteI've been sampling the pears on our tree. So far so good! I think they need another week and they'll be perfect!
ReplyDeleteWe always wonder why they call them crab apples. Hope they get tasting sweeter soon, or you may need to add some sugar sprinkles.

Your little bonsai crabby apple tree is so cute. You sure got lots of apples for such a small tree.
ReplyDeleteDo crabby apples ever get sweet? We love your little tree.
ReplyDeleteGive them a few more days Princess and then try again!!

Your parents are lucky to have you testing their apples.
ReplyDeleteYes, I was pretty sure that would be the outcome. :)
ReplyDeleteHoping you didn't eat any of those!! xoxo DakotasDen
ReplyDeleteI haven't thought of crabapples in years! When I was a kid, a neighbor had a crabapple tree and we used to have crabapple wars with them! FYI~ They hurt when thrown! BOL!
