How I Spent my Summer

This summer I decided to exercise my rights as a
CAVALIER KINGS CHARLES SPANIEL
and visit the
Houses of Parliament

King Charles II passed a decree
allowing HIS Spaniels access to Parliament
that means me
and

Of course that means my TWIN as well

Maggie Mae and I went to have a look at
Big Ben
which is not the Tower
it is
The Bell

The Tower is called
The Elizabeth Tower
and

Woohoo,
You've just gotta abseil down the clock face..

Now I'm not saying we got a bit carried away
butt....

Big Ben's bongs will be silenced
for FOUR years
for MAJOR repairs and renovations

Oophs!!!!!

Loves and licky kisses

  10. Wow! That looks very exciting and dangerous to be way up there on the clock. (Ghostwriter is terrified of heights.) But she did see Big Ben when she visited London a long time ago.

Oh, have you seen the moon lately? Ghostwriter says she saw it last night when she was driving home from work at 11:30pm, it looked like a gigantic orange eye just coming up on the horizon. But by the time it rose high enough to see it from my house, I was fast asleep. Maybe it will be out tomorrow morning and I'll be sure to give you a call!
