I'm joining our beautiful hostess Dory for Flower Friday
They have GLORIOUS flowers at Chatters-A-Way House
Pretty white ones
Pretty smelling yellow ones
And there's a whole rainbow of colours going on down here
Now, to keep the flowers in tip top condition,
They use extra specially smelly manure
and I've just located some up here
Just pawfect to roll in!!!!
*Sigh*
Loves and licky kisses

ReplyDeleteKisses and hugs from your Casper.
Very beautiful flowers Leah!
ReplyDeleteOh Princess Leah you did find some beautiful posies on your holiday...Dang girl all that trouble to trek to the manure and they wash it off....shameful!!
ReplyDeleteMom says she knows that smell. Before she retired the grounds peeps at NC State University had FRESH FRESH from the cow barn manure they used mixed with compost. N A S T Y.
Little secret about NCSU in it's early years late 1900's it was just State College and was mainly known for Agriculture, animal science. Some folks referred to it as Cow College. MOLMOL
now is known for science and technology and the hub of all kinds of
projects
Hugs madi your bfff
correction we meant late 1800's not 1900's
ReplyDeletepeeps never understand our 'perfume' do they
ReplyDeleteOh, you knew that b-a-t-h was coming Princess Leah, especially after a good roll in some stinky manure! BOL The flowers are all such pretty colors.
ReplyDeleteVery very pretty!
ReplyDeletePoor Leah!! Was the manure worth the baff to roll in? I think if it's the EXTRA smelly kind, it would be!
ReplyDeletePretty flowers. Too bad your mom didn't appreciate that good poop you rolled in!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley

Such pretty flowers! I have several rose bushes that I don't take proper care of and each year they bloom so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteSorry you had to get a bath after seeing all the flowers.
Ghostwriter often says the stinkier the mulch, the better it is for the garden!
ReplyDeleteBut ... but ... oh, that's just so unfair!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the flowers.
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
PS: I'll bet your new perfume smelled wonderful!
Peeps have no appreciation of nature's delicate smells.....bad luck.
ReplyDeleteWe really like that yellow rose, and all the lush green

Looks like you got caught rolling in the stinky stuff. Those flowers are pretty.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty - both you and the flowers.

I'm loving the whole rainbow of colours theme. Lee gets that sterilized manure and it has no smell and it's no fun to roll in.
ReplyDeleteYou know I was thinking did you use the zip code on the Christmas List because it was wrong and a correction went out and I talked about it on my blog. Because that could be the problem with the book not here yet.
Thanks for being a friend

Sometimes it stinks (pun intended) to be small enuf to fit in the sink.
ReplyDeleteYes, why is it that manure is considered so good for flowers and yet so bad for us pups?
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Eau de Manure is a wonderful perfume!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are soooo pretty!
