That's a lot of pretty blossoms Leah - or should we say BUDDLeah?! (We used to have a butterfly bush but it got too much shade so now we have milkweeds instead.)

ReplyDeletethat are super colorful flowers... and a lot of purple... of course it is a royal color for a princess :o) we have a giant butty pillar bush too... the mama has no clue if she can cut it... so it will be a sky scraper soon ;o)
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful flowers! Mom misses her butterfly bush. We don't see any here - yet.
ReplyDeleteI love the butterfly bush. In fact I only learned its real name (BuddLeah) years later, since we always called it the butterfly bush!! I had one in the garden in the Netherlands and my cats would always be close to it, trying to catch a butterfly...
ReplyDeleteMara from Norway

I wondered how the Buttie Pillar Bush got its Latin name! Now I know! What an educational post! We have 3 Buttie Pillar Bushes, but our white one is tiny and doesn't even have any blooms right now.
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
What beautiful flowers! We've been seeing some monarch butterflies fluttering around the milkweed in our front yard, and a couple tiger swallowtails too.
ReplyDeleteThose are some very beautiful flowers
ReplyDeleteMom was so busy at work today she failed to flower. Next Friday for sure. Thanks for the great photos!.

ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
You found some great flowers. That one your mum likes the most is called Ladies Mantle. We have lots of it in our yard.
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are so pretty, but not as pretty as you Princess!
ReplyDeleteWe luff the ones you Mom luff! They look like perennial geranium leaves and the flower looks similar to Bressingham Hybrid Coral Bells. Well it is beautiful with the chartreuse color.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
