Wet and Windy Weekend

It's been really wet and windy here

Dad's tall bonsai was blown right out of its pot

Then it rained and the soil swelled up and he
couldn't get it back in its potl!

Luckily he blamed the rain and not the pee mail
*cough* *cough*

Sadly its not a well bonsai
and we're not sure it'll make it through the winter

(maybe a bit more pee mail might help???)

Loves and licky kisses
Princess Leah

  2. For once we had a really nice weekend, but it was cold and we even had a smattering of snow! But it was so little I could still go out and explore my neighbourhood.

  7. That is one huge bonsai. I just have a feeling that pee mail will not help it. Hopefully the Dad can bring the tree back to life.

  10. Leah, what I am worried about is whether it is possible to have a 'tall' bonsai tree?

  11. We hope you tree feels better soon. Dad has always been interested in bonsai trees, but never got around to trying to grow one. He does have a tiny ginko tree he grew from a seed he found. Maybe he should read up and bring that little tree indoors for some bonsai training.

  12. Oh dear Leah! Sorry about the bonsai. It is so lovely, too.
I think I told you about the big wind at our house, didn't I? Not a pretty sight. For some reason the BIG Italian Spruce did not block that one nasty gust.

  15. Hey P.L.!
Wow, I'm so sorry Mr. Bonsai has the ouchies or sickies or whatever he'd call it! Gosh, maybe that pee mail would help out. Worth a try fur sure. One thing for certain, my Mom would kill it. She can't grow hardly anything. I hope it recovers!

  16. A tall Bonsai? Maybe is has be mis-identified. I thought dat all Bonsai's were short and little.
Dat is one sick and TALL plant or maybe it is just going to hibernate for da winter.

A little more pee mail can't hurt.

  24. That is one Godzilla bonsai! Maybe it is to big for its dish. We have a wing of the conservatory that is dedicated to bonsai trees. Some are really really old.

  31. It sure is a nice looking tree. We hope it survives. Did you know that if you water down pee mail that it is more like a fertilizer?
