Halloween Plans

Did you see me taste testing Nanny's plastic flowers yesterday?

Well Bouncing Bertie wrote an amazing poem for me,
so for those of you that missed it, here, by Royal Command......

Roses are red
Violets are blue
But when roses are plastic
You've something to chew

Toodle pip!
Bertie,

Hehe, isn't that pawsome!
Thank you Bertie

We don't have many Trickie Treaters around here
Just ONE last year!
So I'm hoping to entice a few more in this year

Oh these little candle thingys make great footballs

Think I might just make off and play with one of these

Sorry, got a bit sidetracked there...

So here's my Trickie Treater Trap

And

If that fails I'm gonna turn
Wicked Witch on them
(insert insane witches cackle!!!!)

Happy Halloween everyone

Loves and licky kisses
Princess Leah

  1. What a great poem Bertie wrote! When we lived in the city we got about 12 trick or treaters. In the country we get 0. We hope you get more than 1 this year!

  3. you know my Mom spent her first 5 years on England - she lived in Nottingham but she remembers them celebrating Bonfire Night or Guy Fauks night - guess over time that has changed to Halloween

Wow, that poem is so funny! Did those flowers taste like chicken? Hmmm bet not. Anyway, hope you get some treaters this year. They're so cute in their little costumes.

  5. that's a pawsome poem by Bertie Shakespeare! BRAVO!!! we got 30 trick&treaters last year... till my dad noticed that some came twice... I suggested to avoid that, my momma should hand out some of her pawmade cookies, butt my dad said we currently have enough trouble, maybe next year...

  8. That was a great poem! Haha!

I couldn't help but notice, you have a balcony just like the Queen! All you have to do is open the windows.

We don't have any Halloween plans and will probably be stuck in ghostwriter's office because all the goblins at our door make Joey dog and me crazy. Hope you have fun, though!

  15. Great trap. Halloween isn't a big celebration here, though the shops are trying hard. A local Guide group have a map of houses that will give out treats, after watching a neighbour handing out about 300 treats, we just put out a pumpkin. As it is usually still light outside and HOT, we get a few sweaty hopefuls every year, so we have treats. Of course this morning it is pouring with rain..... We love Bertie's poem.
