Or maybe they were terrapins, can't remember


They seemed very friendly
 not like the Mr Snappy Mitch found the other day 


Not so sure about this fella though

    It is easy to remember - turtles and terrapins have web feet for swimming - tortoises have ordinary stumpy feet for walking. We would give the snake a wide birth - don't want it having a hissy fit at you

    Our humans used to have reptiles as pets (before they discovered doggies, that is.) We love turtles and lizards! Never had a snake, though.

    Best to be on the wary side, right, Leah? We find some box turtles in our yard sometimes. Thunder Dunder used to like to roll them around.
