Letter to Aunty Freya

Dear Miss Aunty Freya
I hear that you are keeping the young Pup Princess Leah under your paw and training her up to be a Police Pup Officer.
Well.... I am slightly concerned that with her thieving habits and shredding abilities she may not be cut out for the job.

Exhibit A

Theft of Mum's Bra (!) last night

Exhibit B

Attempted theft of Mum's slipper....while she was still wearing it!

Exhibit C

Theft of Dad's paintbrush

 Exhibit D

Bag handles, lifted from inside Mum's handbag!

Shredding of evidence

I believe said young Pup is away on training exercises at the moment. I am seriously concerned that the trainers are not aware of her secret thieving nature and will be beguiled by her sweet Innocent looks

I feel it is my civic duty to inform you of this Pups actual character before she's allowed to handle anything as dangerous as a LOADED WATER PISTOL!!!!

Yours
Princess Leah's Mum

  2. This is quite shocking! How will Blogville's police department react. (And we can't help wondering if some other of the new recruits might have similar blemishes on their past records….)

  3. OMD epic mischief but how can mum resist that cute look you give her? Have a fabulous Friday.

    Dear Leah's Mum,
You have done the right thing in bringing this to attention and for sure, under investigation, (and as pointed out by Boffin Bertie), it could well help to bring out other erroneous behaviours among the up and coming pawlice awfycers... This is not a bad thing at all - and I am certain that all will now come to heel and begin to listen to their trainers, resulting a force of considerably impressive pawlicing skills!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  11. Hey Mum!
Wow, no need to worry! Here in the Blogville PD we will put those particular skills to good use. We always need shredding of top secret papers so that will come in handy. She'll be great at gathering evidence from a crime scene and grabbing evidence from a suspect's premises. And that face will melt even the toughest criminal's heart. BOL She'll be a great officer fur sure...but you do seem to have your paws full with her while off duty. BWAR HAR HAR ahem.
    Grr and Woof,

  13. To that I say, "let he who is without sin be the first to cast a stone." What doggie has NOT done some or all of these things at one time? I must say, I still have a penchant for stealing and chewing things I'm not supposed to, like Jason's flip flops, stuff from the trash, random socks; and I might eye Mom's dollie collection with evil intent. Besides, like Sarge said, the Princess would be wonderful when you have to play good cop/bad cop!

  16. WE are all AWARE of the ... It TAKES one to KNOW One... thingy... WE see this as PROOF PAWsitive that Princess Leah is going to make a PAWFECT addition to the Blogville Pawlice Dept..
NOTE TO P. Leah... this looks like something you should be discussing with Ernie the Attorney... we see the makings of a Court Case here.
and the FIRST thingy that needs to be addressed is.... your MUM's OBVIOUSLY unauthorized use of YOUR BLOG...

  25. I think Princess Leah is learning how to think like and act like a thief so she will be able to catch a thief.

  26. It must be said, young paws sometimes go off of the rails.
I'm sure in young Princess Leah's case it is a case of not focusing on tasks at hand.

Who left the paintbrush there to start wiv ?
Hooman's STUFFS has different smells and Princess Leah obviously has a good nose for sniffin stuffs out.
As time goes by, Princess Leah's tail will really start to flourish and become a fully fledged Cavalier tail WIV FEATHERS. I am sure you are going to be a treasure to work with on the beach and around town. I for one am countin on yer. .

  27. Thanks for doing your civic duty, but give a princess a chance to make good! "It takes a thief to catch a thief" - (Probably was said by a thief)

  28. As a "legal analyst",,,I must point out that these photos prove nothing. Perhaps the pics are depicting Leah gathering the objects to return them to their proper storage places,,,and the tissue,,,why, it looks to me as if she is PICKING it up to dispose of it for someone,,,rather than tearing it up. Things are not always as they appear.

  31. Holy Dogs Leah, you got ratted out by your Mom!!! I think you should check with Attorney Ernie and there needs to be much more evidence. I don't see any reason to blame you for any of it.
