Normally I get the drops on my neck..YUCK!!!
(Stinky smelly stuffs on my furs that I do NOT luffs)

I've never taken these before
Has anyone else used these?
Do they work?

Chewable!?!?

Does that mean they are
WRAPPED IN CHEESE!!!

'Cos I'm NOT eating them without
CHEESE!!!

Today I'm joining

  2. I take my Bravecto every 3 months. It is a controversial product. Bailie takes a different tablet monthly. Being a food snob, I will not eat the Bravecto chew, so Mom crams it down my throat, but it works great. Olivia may take it too when she is old enough. The stuff to put on your skin is no longer as effective so we all take tablets now. Emma also took Bravecto.

  3. Hi Princess
I still get the stuff put on my neck so I can't comment on the efficacy of those tablets I'm afraid. I do know that humans can readily be trained to cover any tablet in a layer of cheese so that they (the tablets not the humans) become acceptable fare for dogs. And let's face it, most of us pups aren't that fussy about what we put in our mouths, unlike C-A-T-s...

  4. Lucy gets a Sentinel tablet once a month and she has never had an issue with fleas. She takes hers with no complaints and no cheese. Have a blessed week.

Big boy loves his and so did all the other dogs except Jake, for his we just broke it up in pieces in his dog food and he gulped it down .

  7. I don't know anything about these, but I'm sure they are better than those sticky, stinky drops. I'm sure it works very well.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday. ♥

  8. there are a lot of warnings, but other people say they have no problems... but just between us, if I read such things my heart drops down in my pants and I rather go with something different... we have seresto collars, they work by now and they caused no problems...

  9. Hi Princess, I take a pill that takes care of heart worm and fleas and have never had any trouble! Mine are liver flavored so you know, being as hungry as I am on my diet, I gobble it up! Hope this new medication works for you too!

  11. I've never had those before. I do get heartgard chewies once a month and they're very yummy. (Oh, that reminds me … today is July 1st. Time for one of those chewies!) Hope you're enjoying the summer. Gee, I haven't seen the moon phone in ages! It's either hidden behind the clouds, or the sun, or doesn't come up until the wee hours of the morning. Sending love and kisses anyway!
    Your faithful Chester

  13. No idea as I have cats. But I do think you should hold firm on the cheese rule. You are precious as always Princess!

  14. My heartworm pills (Heartgard) are soft chews and I gobble them right down. We use Frontline Plus for those nasty ticks. It's a liquid that mom squirts down my back.

  15. We take a similar pill for fleas and ticks and a different one for heartworms...and make sure BOTH are wrapped in some kind of cheesy or beefy goodness. Can't take a naked chew, right?

  17. They need to be wrapped in lots of cheese....or liverwurst is good.
About 9 years ago when it used to rain, and we got floods, the scotties got fleas and took something like that. Kept the fleas off.

  21. Ma tried to gives me that, cause I too HATES the greasy drops on my furs! I try and wipe it off on the furniture BOL!! (here's a tip my vettie tech gave Ma ~ put the drops on right before you leave for a walkie, so you can't wipe it off! It should be dry by the time you gets back. Butts i try and wipe it off anyhu...hehehee)
Nows, the chewable pill made me throw up. Ma tried again, and again, and I puked it up each time! Ma was disappointed, cause it seems to work well for every doggie that can keep it down. AND, I say, don't take it without cheese!!!!! I mean really ~ are we savages???
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥

  22. We've never tried those tablets but we hope they work well for you. Of course you should definitely have them with lots of extra cheese to help it go down better.

  23. That is what I take. I only take it during the summer during camping season. Yes it works. It was what finally cured my demodetic mites when I was a young pup. Hazel took it also with no problem.

    Hilda too

  24. I take something LIKE this. It is totally chewable but I am not sure it actually tastes good. Molly won't take hers unless it is disguised. Me? Just say the word TREAT and I will eat it. And I don't chew or taste. In this case, it is a good thing because then there is never a problem with me taking my flea/tick meds.
