It was glorious summer weather here this weekend
(although its back to winter again now *sigh*)
So it was time to test drive the new table I built.....
Crabby Apple Bonsai
is looking the best it has for the last couple of years
Take a closer look at the Bonsai on the left of the table....
'Cos this is going on.......
Mr Bluetit Birdie keeps attacking his reflection!
The peeps have to cover the mirror up so
he'll go off and do his nest building duties
butt as soon as the mirror is uncovered
there he is back again
Having an argument with HIMSELF!!!!
Nutty Birdie
I'll just watch him from the comfort of my outside box
IN THE SUNSHINE
Woohoo!!!!
Loves and licky kisses
Princess Leah

ReplyDeleteapart from a brief glimpse on Saturday, the Hutch has been sadly lacking in both sunshine or warmth... am envious of your outside bed, your Watchliness, and to be able to observe the silly birdie! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Bird brained or what!
ReplyDeleteGood job building that table, Princess Leah. We love that plant. It is looking mighty good. That bird is a little on the stoooopid side but whatever works. You all have a fabulous day.
ReplyDeleteDearest Leah,
ReplyDeleteThe Bonsai is gorgeous...and I should know since I'm lovingly called Bonsai Bunny by my dad.
That birdie is quite vain as I'm sure he is saying I'm the most handsome of them all.
Hugs madi your bfff
fantastic table, love it and silly birds, they do that here to...
ReplyDeleteThat is one very strange birdie! The Crab Apple bonsai is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWe had a crazy red cardinal that used to attack his reflection in the windows. He went away eventually. Once a brown-headed cowbird started a war on his reflection in the window box birdie feeder. His feathers got so beat up that we had to take the feeder down for a couple weeks until he went away. Crazy birdies!
ReplyDeleteGhostwriter worked until 3am last night. She said when she drove home, she saw the half moon setting in the west, and it looked like a huge orange eye! Kind of scary! I didn't want to go out at that time of night, and I'm sure you wouldn't have wanted to be woken up from your beauty sleep, so I'll keep a watch for the moon tonight. Hopefully the clouds will clear up.
Your table and that crabby apple tree look great. We had a female bluebird attacking our windows for the past few years. She would even go after any cars that were parked in our driveway. It seems she hasn't returned this year so far.
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a silly birdie. We have some here who think there is no glass where our big windows are. They fly right into the glass and hit with a big thud - they must get some nasty headaches.
ReplyDeleteYour bonsai is just amazing - what is the trick to having one do so well?
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Outside bed in the sun....bliss!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful work you do. And your rest in the sun is well deserved.
ReplyDeleteI love your new table! Birds are so silly when they see their reflections.
ReplyDeleteThat poor bird just found the most attracive bird in the world and can't get to her.
ReplyDeleteYes, birds are kinda silly that way. Enjoy your sun spot Leah!

oh dear, I hope the bird didn't hurt itself. Your outside box looks lovely, comfy and in the sunshine, that's definitely a win win, I'm glad your peoples think of things like that. There will be more sunshine soon :-) xx
ReplyDeleteOur mom thinks Mr. Bluetit is VERY handsome! We don't have those birdies here!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
You have the most lovely garden Princess, we like the bonsai and the birdie! But most of all, we like YOU!
