Hello there,
I'm going teach you how to do….
Knitting
First,
Grab the needle in your mouth
(this works best with nice wooden ones)
Stomping on the knitting to press it helps
But chewing the needles is my favourite bit
Oh, and most impawtant…
Don't get caught!!!
Fur sum reason Mum never appreciates my help!
Loves and licky kisses

wow I love that kind of knitting... do you think I can make me a sweater that way?
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDelete... that is the kind of knitting which can end in knottage your Stompliness... which might explain mum's opinion of your assistance! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
those are some great tooth picks you have found - perfect for keeping your pearly whites in tip top condition :) :)
ReplyDeleteOh my Princess Leah, bet you got in just a little trouble doing that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lesson!
ReplyDeleteYou probably don't make the needle quite soggy enough, Leah! Next time, add a bit more saliva to your efforts, then Mommy will be very happy with you! ;p

BOL BOL looks like you were caught on camera.
ReplyDeletePeeps never like us dogs helping with knitting and sewing. I can't think why that should be. Nose licks and love from Moth xx
ReplyDeleteI always try to help Mara by giving her the yarn, but she does not appreciate it either!
ReplyDeleteMiss Oswin from Norway
PS: Mara asks what your two-legger is making!
I always wondered how to knit! Thanks for the advice.
ReplyDeleteThat is great advice. Our mom is a hooker...er we mean crocheter and all her hooks are mostly metal. We've never tried chewing on them though so thanks for the advice. Like we've said before...if your mom is taking pictures of you doing something it must not be that bad or she would put the camera down and stop you.
ReplyDeleteI think you forgot to mention that this technique of knitting would give some saliva, Erm... I mean flavour, to the newly knitted outfit. BOL

As always Princess Leah...we have learned yet another valuable lesson. Now mom knows why she can't knit...she has been using her hands and she says the left hand is a poor listener and the right hand is just clumsy.
ReplyDeleteHowever she can crochet.
Love your Knitting for Humans
Madi your bfffffffff
Gosh Princess, you are clearly an expert. How on earth is it that your Mum does not appreciate the fact...?
ReplyDeleteWhat...absurd! How could she not appreciate the help of such an expert of knitting as you?
ReplyDeleteYou're so cute as always, Princess Leah! Your mom needs to send you a thank-you goody!
ReplyDeleteMomo & Pinot
Hmmmmmm, SHE only has old metal or plastic ones. Not very nice on the teeth. We think wooden ones would be best!
ReplyDeleteOh! I must say, I've never been too interested in knitting, but the way you explain it, it sounds mighty fun!!!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
CRIKEY Leah ... thanks for the hints. I'm going to help my Mum knit my jumper now. Maybe it will get done for this winter. With my help of course!!
ReplyDeleteMisty has found it to be quite entertaining to play with the yarn as Mom tries to wind it into a ball and undo all the tantles:) Is Mum making you a new sweater?
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning and Misty
My mom's needles are not wooden, Leah - they're metal. Wooden is better for chewing! And my mom has one of those counter thingies like you do only hers is blue.
ReplyDeleteThat looks much easier than the way I was taught to knit. I'm a failure at the craft! LOL!
ReplyDeletesuch a great helper!

OMD...that looks like how we crochet at our house. We totally agree wooden needles are the BEST!!
