Rainy Day Blues

It was very rainy and wet yesterday
I was stuck indoors...bored!!!!

So I decided to revisit one of my favourite hobbies....

Knitting

These are examples of my earlier efforts when just a baby pup

After which Mum learnt to keep her knitting out of my reach.....

until yesterday...HeHe

One well savaged ball of wool

And nicely chewed wooden knitting needles

Who knew knitting could be so much fun?

I think Mum is hoping for better weather today!

Loves and licky kisses

  15. Wow, good job on your first knitting project! Ghostwriter takes care of a little old lady at the nursing home who is 102 years old! Although she no longer knits, sometimes her hands go through the motions. Ghostwriter always gives her a nice knitted or crocheted blanket to hold in her hands so she can feel like she is still knitting and that seems to comfort her.

  26. Leah you are so right...playing with mom's yarn is so much fun. I, Walter, once scattered a huge skein of yarn all over our kitchen. My mom thought it was so funny she, of course, did a blog post about it.
