This is a Swallowtail, Mum's favourite.
And I didn't have just one, I had TWO!!
Silly Buttie went and landed on Dad's birdwing (not a real one)
Getting big ideas was Mr Buttie!

Wow! We've seen a few butterflies, but not the big ones yet. The monarchs and swallowtails don't show up till mid-summer. So glad you got to see one!

ReplyDeleteYou would love our Krohn Conservatory right now it is full of Butterflies of The Philippines hundreds of them maybe a thousand just landing on every flower and even on visitors.
