Buttie Pillars (Mofties)

I have not done very well with my Buttie Pillars this year
No idea why
and its very disappointing for a Buttie Pillar Princess

However...to make up for the shortages......

I grew a BIG one
Allow me to introduce....
Mr Atlas Moftie

Wow, he is a beauty
Can you see the snakes heads on the tips of his wings

And
I grew this fella
Oleander Hawk Moftie

Such pretty colours
and
I'm sure that means they're very TASTY
If only I was allowed to try one !!!!!

Loves and licky kisses
Princess Leah

  7. Wow! Those are some amazing moths! We loved seeing them. Sometimes this time of year we see hummingbird moths. I'll be watching out for them. Oh, and the monarch butterflies are back this year! Hooray!

  11. Wow, how very stunning!!! The butterfly festival is on now but the girl grands are all super busy with dance and may not get to go this year. Mom is pretty bummed about that too.

We haven't seen very many buttie pillars around our area, but we will keep looking.
