It was very rainy and wet yesterday
I was stuck indoors...bored!!!!
So I decided to revisit one of my favourite hobbies....
These are examples of my earlier efforts when just a baby pup
After which Mum learnt to keep her knitting out of my reach.....
One well savaged ball of wool
And nicely chewed wooden knitting needles
Who knew knitting could be so much fun?
I think Mum is hoping for better weather today!
Loves and licky kisses
Oh yes Leah, I know all about that out of reach knitting business...ReplyDelete
Bwwahahahahah - that'll teach mum to take her attention away from her work as your constant lady-in-waiting!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
BOL! SHE doesn't knit, but we've done the chew on wooden stuffs when WE WERE BEING IGNORED AND IT WAS BORING! Sometimes you just have to shake up the peeps a bit.....hope your weather improves....remember it's SUMMER!ReplyDelete
Looks like your Mom is sure hoping for nice weather. You sure had a great time with your knitting project Princess Leah. Have a great day and maybe no knitting.ReplyDelete

The Florida Furkids
you were just telling your mom to stop knotting and spend more quality princess time with you - right?ReplyDelete
Leah you should open your own etsy store, you are a knitting-talent :o) yesterday the weather guy said we will get "da hottest day of the year"... and today we have tons of rain and it is cold ... probably that guy has no weather forecasting frog... maybe he ate him?ReplyDelete
Send me that rain please!ReplyDelete
Why Princess Leah it looks like you turned wool into mohair now can you spin some gold like in Rumpelstiltskin?ReplyDelete
Thanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot

What a wonderful knitter you are, Leah!! Our Mama crochets so we understand how important yarn "art" is and just how delicious those wooden handled crochet thingamajigs taste!!ReplyDelete
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Are you going to make a sweater for da winter?ReplyDelete
Wow, good job on your first knitting project! Ghostwriter takes care of a little old lady at the nursing home who is 102 years old! Although she no longer knits, sometimes her hands go through the motions. Ghostwriter always gives her a nice knitted or crocheted blanket to hold in her hands so she can feel like she is still knitting and that seems to comfort her.ReplyDelete
Getting an early start on Christmas pressies????ReplyDelete
Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel
I think you should demonstrate that on Utube my lovely....MMReplyDelete
Heard the weather is going to get better again, so mum won't need to quickly knit up a wooly jumper yet... just as well........ AW LEAH !ReplyDelete
We all nose Princess do not knit, they get someone else to do that for em...
Luvs your loving Auntie Freya Rose Blossom X
Oh, wow! You're really good at that! I tried golf in much the same way. No one around here seemed very impressed with my efforts. What's up with that!?ReplyDelete
That looks like a blast!! I wish my Mommy had those toysReplyDelete

We hope for rain over here.
Kisses and hugs from your Casper.
Did you sharpen those knitting needles?ReplyDelete
Murphy & Stanley

Leah you are so right...playing with mom's yarn is so much fun. I, Walter, once scattered a huge skein of yarn all over our kitchen. My mom thought it was so funny she, of course, did a blog post about it.ReplyDelete
